On Sunday, 24th November, the Tarrangower Cactus Control Group (TCCG) held its Annual General Meeting, followed by a delightful lunch and a friendly game of croquet.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the Warriors who attended. Your ongoing support and dedication are vital to the success of our efforts.
During the meeting, attendees heard reports from the President and Treasurer. Despite reducing the number of Field Days in line with our Strategic Plan, the group still achieved a significant amount of work towards controlling Wheel Cactus and raising awareness of this invasive weed. Targeted work with new landowners proved particularly effective, along with supporting Warriors by repairing equipment and providing herbicide to keep their efforts going strong.
