Cactus Warrior Volunteers at work
The Tarrangower Cactus Control Group wholeheartedly say THANK YOU to all the volunteers who have helped control local Wheel Cactus infestations. Many community members have contributed, in all sorts of ways, to maintaining our ‘war on Wheel Cactus’ over the past years.
Our volunteers have helped clear Maldon Historic Reserve of all major infestations and fruiting plants, helping to preserve our native plants and animals and restore our stunning park. Many local property owners have also been assisted over the years by volunteers giving valuable assistance and advice to control their infestations.
There’s also been many devoted and passionate volunteers who have served on our committee, bringing a wonderful range of skills and talent – thanks to all of you.
