Community field day action near Maldon.
The Tarrangower Cactus Control Group continues to ‘wage war on Wheel Cactus’ and is planning to launch the 2021 field day season on Sunday 2nd May at 10:30am.
Thanks to our sponsors and supporters, including Parks Victoria and Mount Alexander Shire Council, we hold these field days on the last Sunday of every month from May to October, to demonstrate to our local community members how best to control Wheel Cactus infestations.
Please come and join us for a rewarding morning in the outdoors. We supply all the necessary equipment; all you need are sturdy shoes, long sleeves and pants and a hat.
The morning’s activities always end with a delicious BBQ lunch and friendly chat. These events are Covid-safe and family friendly, but children must be accompanied by a parent at all times. The location for this field day will be confirmed and advised next week.
