The Tarrangower Cactus Control Group will be holding their End-of-Year Celebration on Sunday 26th November, in the Band Hall at the Maldon Community Centre (Francis St.). We’ll start with the AGM at 11:30 am, then at approx. 12 noon, following the AGM, there’ll be a presentation on Landscape Restoration by Beth Mellick. Beth will talk about Muckleford Landcare’s habitat corridor planting and Creating Connectivity projects. There’s a short video and Beth is happy to discuss the group’s landscape restoration, techniques used and interest in significant roadside vegetation.
Then to finish we’ll be providing a “rewarding” complimentary lunch and refreshments to celebrate yet another very active and successful year. All of our past, present and potential Cactus Warrior volunteers are invited to attend. Please note that you’re welcome to come to the Landscape Restoration presentation and lunch without attending the AGM.
