Attacking Wheel Cactus is great Therapy

Cactus Therapy leads to happiness.

Spending time in our natural surroundings is highly beneficial for good health and well-being. ‘Cactus Warriors’ will verify that wandering around outdoors is indeed extremely ‘therapeutic’, especially if attacking all the Wheel Cactus plants found along the way!

Anyone interested in trying some ‘Cactus Therapy’ combined with ‘Iso-exercise’ is welcome to borrow equipment from the Tarrangower Cactus Control Group.

Thanks to funding from Mount Alexander Shire Council, we have lots of injector kits with herbicide and hoes and buckets for loan, and can arrange contact-free delivery. Just contact us by email at info@cactuswarriors.org if interested.

If you already have an injector gun that’s no longer working, please return it to us for repair; we’re more than happy to swap it for a new one topped up with herbicide.

Sadly, we’ve had to cancel our Community Field Day for this month (August) due to Covid lockdown restrictions, but we’re still hoping to hold a couple of field days before the end of the year. If anyone is interested to join us to learn more about this noxious weed, or just happy to help, then please subscribe here on our website to receive current updates about future events.
